All our engineering decisions are reviewed and approved by our RPEQ accredited engineers. MHE Consulting aim to provide the right resource for the task. To do this, we engage with our clients to understand their needs prior to allocating resourcing.
Studies & Design
MHE Consulting are able to provide suitably qualified electrical engineering resources to support our clients projects from preliminary studies through to detailed design. Using a range of electrical system modelling software, MHE Consulting are able to undertake power system studies including:
- Load Flow/Fault Studies
- Earthing/Lightning Studies
- Protection Coordination
- Arc Flash Studies
- Cable Sizing Calculations
On top of this, utilising our internal design capabilities, we are able to produce detailed design drawings and reports to align with clients needs.

Project Management/Engineering
MHE Consulting are able to provide resources to work within client organisations providing project management or project engineering support for electrical projects. Drawing on our experience across a range of large construction projects through to small self-completed projects, MHE Consulting understands the details which ensure a successful project completion. The services includes:
- Project coordination with other disciplines
- Preparation of workpacks for field works
- Preparation of tender packs to support procurement (including bid evaluation)
- Electrical estimating
- Attendance at meetings/workshops
- Project scheduling

Testing/Commissioning/Auditing
MHE Consulting have access to a range of specialists to undertake specific electrical testing, commissioning or auditing of client electrical installations. These include:
- Protection relay testing
- HV Switchboard testing and commissioning
- HA inspections
- HV inspections/auditing by QLD Govt Accredited Auditor
